Spacious Tahoe Retreat, Min to Beach & Skiing

Dishes were dirty when we got there . Kitchen was dusty and most window sills were dirty. Towels smelled like they had been sitting in the washer days before being dried . Strong mildew smell. The shower on second level smelled of mildew as well do to the mat inside the shower along with black mold . There was also a truck parked in driveway with garage locked which made us feel like someone else was there . Owner said she lets neighbors park there but not knowing this when we got there felt unsettling. Owner was very responsive if we text and kids did enjoy the pool table and ping pong table there so I do not want to sound completely negative. I think it’s more of the cleaning company then owner

Perfect place for our family gathering. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the game tables were lots of fun. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra towels and blankets if needed. The manager was super nice and communicative. Kings Beach is a really cute town and there are great restaurants, shops and parks within walking distance or a short drive. House is not fancy, but very clean and welcoming.

It was clear the details provided on features and amenities were not specific to this house and may be outdated. Overall it was a great place to stay!
