Donner Lake walk to beach, hot tub, gorgeous views

We had a great stay at this property. It’s only minutes away from multiple beaches and also great views. It was the perfect location and place to celebrate my son’s bday. Only thing which was not a problem for us just to keep in mind is the stairs. I would only keep that in mind if you have someone who can’t go up and down. I would definitely consider this location for our next Tahoe vacay.

Fantastic property! We were blown away by how beautiful it was. Even better than the pictures show! It’s a very spacious property. All 7 of us felt comfortable. I spent every morning on the patio overlooking the breathtaking view. I was pleasantly surprised that all the furniture looked brand new and spotless! It felt like staying in a high-end hotel where everything was state-of-the-art and high quality. We brought lots of food so it was nice having such a huge fridge. The hot tub worked perfectly! There were no hidden fees/charges. I did not have to pay extra to “heat the hot tub” like I’ve had to do at other rentals in the past. I was very sad to leave but hope to book this exact property again because I think it’s the best house on the lake!

We stayed in August, 2025. The property is clean and has amazing views of Donner Lake. However, our stay was tough due to the quality of the mattress and bedding in the lower bedroom, and the noise levels from the nearby highway in the upper bedroom. Also, The bunk beds in another bedroom made a lot of noise and seemed rickety so one of our guests slept on the couch. I think if investments were made into the beds and bedding this would be a wonderful place.

We had a very nice stay at this Donner Lake property. It's very nicely maintained, with a well equiped kitchen, new fixtures and an excellent bedroom arrangement for a large party (10 people). The only minor issue was a set of fairly steep stairs (common in the Donner Lake area) but easily navigated, even by our family's most senior member (me!)

We stayed here for our family reunion. It was a great location for us - close to so many outdoor activities (swimming, kayaking, hiking, boating and more). The kitchen was well stocked for us as we cooked big family dinners each night. My nieces loved the hot tub too!
